Time Standards
‘A’ Time Standards
The MCSA league is designed for the beginner swimmer to compete in an environment where they have the opportunity to score points for the team as well as achieve individually. If a swimmer swims an ‘A time’ in a meet they are not allowed to swim that event for the remainder of the season unless they swim up an age group.
2021-2024 USA Motivational Time standards: Please following this link and refer to ‘A’ time standards only per age group:
SCM (Short Course Meters) Times applicable to:
- Gladstone Outdoor Pool (Gladstone)
- Liberty Outdoor Pool (Liberty)
SCY (Short Course Yards) Times applicable to:
- Henley Aquatic Center (Riptide)
Note: Times convert evenly between yards and meters. With meters being slightly longer, times will show as slower. And yards times will show as faster.
New change: Former 8 and Under ‘A times’ have been removed and will follow under current 10 and under time standards.
